Casa Enrique

We really enjoyed our stay in the house, especially the swimming pool. The view is fantastic. The house was very clean upon arrival and fully equipped with everything we needed. In just one week, we only managed to see a small part of the region – there is simply too much to choose from. One small point for improvement is the WiFi: the signal is good near the router, but limited in the rest of the house, and outside there is little to no reception. The thick walls probably don’t help ;-)

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Enrique. It is a beautiful, peaceful location just outside Montefiore dell’Aso (within walking distance / 5 minutes by car for example to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the local bakery). There is plenty of space in and around the house, and the private pool was fantastic – as were the evening meals (partly thanks to the BBQ) under the veranda with its stunning view. A small point of attention is the limited parking space: two cars are manageable, but three is really a bit too much.

A wonderfully spacious house, peaceful surroundings, a lovely pool and beautiful views. With all the tips we received from Anne, the holiday went by far too quickly.

We thoroughly enjoyed two wonderful weeks in this lovely house. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, and the swimming pool together with the phenomenal view truly makes it complete. We have booked accommodations in Le Marche through Viva la Casa several times before, and once again this was a beautiful house in a great location. Having a coffee with a delicious pastry in Montefiore every morning was the perfect way to start our day. Anne gave us great tips for activities in Le Marche, and not to forget: the amazing food in the many wonderful restaurants was absolutely TOP!! Erik and Suzanne, the property managers, were always there for us in a very pleasant and helpful way whenever needed. It was a fantastic holiday, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this house to many families.

We had a wonderful holiday in Le Marche during our stay at Casa Enrique. The advice and tips from Anne, Suzanne and Erik were excellent. The view from the terrace of the Casa is phenomenal, as is the view from the swimming pool. The house itself is very comfortable, with plenty of space and a well-equipped, spacious kitchen. In addition, the surrounding area offers lots of opportunities for relaxation. All in all, we look back on a truly lovely holiday. Definitely worth repeating. We had a really wonderful stay at Casa Enrique. The view is beautiful and the pool is definitely a plus. We stayed with two families in the house, and it offers plenty of privacy with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms spread over the upper and lower floors. On request, 2 high chairs and 2 travel cots were provided for us – very convenient! There are plenty of lovely villages to visit nearby, and the beach is also fantastic. In short, a truly enjoyable holiday!

Dear Gert and Margriet, Thank you for the wonderful week in Montefiore dell’Aso! We still can’t get enough of the amazing view from the terrace of the beautiful house! It’s so nice to wake up in the morning, enjoy a long breakfast, chat and start the day in peace. The occasional dip in the pool and a glass of wine… what a perfect holiday! We experienced true Italian warmth, hospitality and delicious food. The Templar festival, the wine tasting, and Marco’s endless Italian hits will stay with us for a long time. Impressive, we made wonderful memories here. The sea, the unique views, lovely people, delicious local food. Definitely worth repeating! Tip: It’s absolutely worth dining at ‘La Mattra’ run by Paola and her daughters—the cuisine is magnificent! Also, it’s fun to go wine tasting at La Valle del Sole. We had a wonderful week here. Five years ago we also vacationed in this place, and it was nice to see the surroundings again. Back then, the kids were still in elementary school, and now they are teenagers, so we approached the holiday a bit differently ;) Short trips, later breakfasts, lots of relaxing by the pool, and dining out. We recognized Pasticceria Dorina from five years ago. Already at home, when we told the kids where we were going this year, they immediately said, “Oh, are we going to have ice cream and coffee with something delicious again?” And we did – and even more :) This time we also tried an aperitivo. Delicious! A drink, tasty snacks, and a little card game in between, so everything wasn’t eaten too quickly. The house is in a stunning location with a fantastic view from the terrace. Watching the sun set behind the hills was beautiful. The house is equipped with every comfort, and the pool is amazing! Erik and Suzanne, thank you for quickly fixing the boiler issue so we had hot water again in no time. We are heading back to Drenthe well rested and will definitely return to Italy again! Highly recommended!!! We had the pleasure of spending two weeks in this beautiful holiday home with its incredible views. Even though we have been vacationing in Le Marche for many years, this holiday booked through Viva la Casa was one of the highlights. A lovely detached country house, complete privacy, fully equipped, flexible owners, and above all, a breathtaking view. We had the pleasure of staying for a week at Casa Enrique with two families. What a fantastic house with stunning views and a beautiful pool. The open-plan kitchen and living area are spacious, and the bedrooms are large with wonderful box-spring beds. The managers are extremely friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions and seeing tricky questions as a challenge. I give Casa Enrique five stars – once the bathrooms have been modernized!

Dear Anne, We really enjoyed our week in Le Marche at Casa Enrique. You never got tired of the stunning views. The house was lovely and very spacious, with a wonderful large kitchen as the central hub. It was great that all the basic ingredients like olive oil, vinegar, spices, and sugar were provided. We spent many relaxed hours together by the pool. The village of Montefiore was very charming and became more familiar and cozy as the week went on. On Friday evenings, people celebrate the weekend at the local bar and Manu’s pizzeria – it was nice to experience this. Dorina’s beautiful shop was a daily treat for picking up delicious pastries and ice cream. A very peaceful location on top of a hill, and I eventually realized that renting bicycles to get to and from the house might not be such a good idea ?. There are more than enough lovely places, beaches, and restaurants to visit in the area – we could have easily spent several more weeks exploring. Special thanks also to Suzanne and Erik, who were always available for questions and assistance. In short… we really enjoyed it!

Hi Anne, Apologies for the late review, but we had an amazing time at Casa Enrique. Absolutely 6 stars, if I may be honest. Everything was perfectly organized, and Suzanne and Erik welcomed us so warmly. I visited Le Marche several times between 2001 and 2014 for shoe shopping for my store, but never realized it was a place to come for vacation. We are completely sold now, and I think this area will see us every year. Regarding the house, it looked even more beautiful than in the photos, especially the panoramic view from the pool, which was breathtaking. We took lots of photos of the surroundings and the house. What I also found very important is that the house was spotless. You often hear complaints about such things, but this was exceptionally neat and clean. We hope the situation improves over the coming months, because I can’t wait to return in spring – and hopefully also in autumn. Thank you for the wonderful experience, and see you soon! It did get a bit warm upstairs, but that’s part of summer temperatures. The fans helped a lot to keep it cool at night. Hi Anne, We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Enrique. We were very happy that there were enough beds available – thank you again for all the effort you put into arranging this. We really appreciated Erik and Suzanne; such a friendly couple with great tips. It was also nice that there were two small fridges in the intermediate space and upstairs – with the heat and 8 people, you definitely need them. We did miss a proper freezer. There was a very small one, but it could hardly fit ice cream or ice cubes. You could tell that the house isn’t fully set up for 8 people yet. We moved quite a few things from upstairs to downstairs. In the summer, you end up living together downstairs. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the surroundings and all the beautiful views. Kind regards, Renate Arts

What a wonderful holiday we had here. A wonderfully peaceful spot with a stunning view! We stayed here for almost two weeks and were never bored. The weather was fantastic, 25–35 degrees, and the pool was a perfect way to cool off. We often walked up to the “upper” village in the late afternoon for a drink on the terrace at Dorina’s. We will definitely come back to this area again. Anne, thank you so much for the excellent service, everything perfectly arranged! We will certainly recommend you to friends and family. For two weeks we were able to enjoy this unique, beautiful place. What a fantastic location and a lovely house with every comfort. The view is breathtaking – so beautiful, those medieval villages perched high on the hills. Also in the evening, when all the lights are on, a truly wonderful view. The weather was fantastic, temperatures around 30 degrees, luckily we had the pool for cooling off. We visited many villages, including Fermo – highly recommended! You can really feel the medieval atmosphere there. San Benedetto del Tronto is also worth a visit, especially the market on Tuesday or Friday morning, also very nice. What an amazing place! From the booking (perfectly arranged, Anne) to the last time we closed the door, we can say it was a wonderful, beautiful, and above all sunny holiday. On day 2, we had the “Chef at Home” service – absolutely a fun and tasty recommendation. Also, Centanni, the winery in the village, is a real must (if you like wine). A wine tip: the Pecorino and for red wine, the Forca de Floris. We didn’t do many other sightseeing trips – simply too hot (not a problem at all). That’s what the pool was for. A very nice house in a beautiful location. Casa Enrique is equipped with every comfort, both indoors and outdoors. Perfect for a week of total relaxation. Close to charming villages and even within (steep) walking distance of Montefiore’s center, where you can pick up fresh bread, enjoy a coffee at Dorina’s, and not to forget, have excellent Italian food at Cinque Colli. What a delight in a beautiful setting! Lovely house with plenty of space, a swimming pool with a view over the valley. Overlooking the sunflowers, olive trees, and vineyards. The farmers working hard. Le Marche is beautiful with friendly people. In the early season, few tourists. Anne helped us wonderfully – from the booking to the end. Excellent care, friendly, warm, and always there for you. Our dog Sjakie had a great holiday. At the Osteria in the village, you can enjoy delicious food, and at the bar with a terrace with a view, you can have a lovely drink. The service is great, and many villagers gather there. We thoroughly enjoyed these 2 weeks at Casa Enrique. A wonderful house with every comfort. We made full use of the swimming pool. Le Marche is stunning. We visited many villages and couldn’t get enough of the beautiful views everywhere. Thanks to Anne’s excellent service and tips, we found so much to do, and the holiday went perfectly. The cooking class with Romina and Alessio was truly amazing. It was cozy, we learned a lot, and the food was delicious. At home, we will definitely put what we learned into practice. We will really miss the ice cream from Pasticceria Dorina. For anyone who loves markets like us, we highly recommend the market in San Benedetto del Tronto (we went on Tuesday, but it’s also held on Fridays). Anne, thanks again for the service, hospitality, and all the tips. We hope to make use of them again many times. We had a really nice week in your beautiful house. What a beautiful view and how much we enjoyed the lovely warm weather & the pool. Montefiore is a very nice village with super tasty ice cream. The Le Marche region really surprised us, it is super nice here! We had a delicious meal at Pizzaria Papa Sisto in Grottammare, really very nice and what a view, really recommended! We had a wonderful week at Casa Enrique, a lovely house with all comforts. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the outdoor area, and some delicious BBQs. For my 60th birthday, our children surprised us with an Italian dinner prepared by Romina! Fully taken care of, simply AMAZING! We also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the aperitivos at Dorina’s, and the delicious birthday cake we bought there. We showed our children the lovely spots in the area: Fermo, Ripatransone, Ascoli Piceno, and the beaches in Pedaso and Sirolo. We know the area well by now, and it definitely remains a place where you can truly relax. Thanks to the warm welcome from Anne and the excellent service, this was another wonderful week for us!
