Cycling & mountain biking
The rolling hills between the Adriatic coast and the mountains are ideal for recreational cyclists. Road cyclists can take on the steeper mountain roads, while mountain bikers will find special off-road trails in the hills. Need a rental or local advice? Vespa tours: Discover Italy in style

Winter sports close by
Le Marche is also worth visiting in winter. Snow is common in the Monti Sibillini, and the ski areas of Sassotetto and Santa Maria Maddalena are just 12 km from Sarnano. With 10 slopes – ranging from beginner to intermediate – there’s fun for all ages and skill levels.

During winter, the Sibillini Mountains are covered in snow, offering great skiing opportunities nearby. Close to Sarnano, you’ll find the ski resorts of Sassotetto and Santa Maria Maddalena.
